Print From a Memory Card With a Photo Inkjet Printer

Many stand-alone photo inkjet printers have the ability to print from a memory card without a computer. This feature adds portability and convenience to an already easy to use photo printing system. Read on to find out how to print from a memory card with a photo inkjet printer.

Instructions

Turn your camera off. Be sure your camera is completely turned off and not accessing the memory card.

Remove the memory card gently from your camera. If you are unsure of how to do this, refer to your manual.

Turn on your printer and ensure that is set up properly.

Load your printer with paper. Place your paper in the feeding tray glossy side facing you. Place it against the right side of the paper guide and slide the moveable piece on the left over so it touches the other side.

Insert memory card. Find the slot to insert your memory card into the printer. Refer to the manual. Make sure you insert it in the right direction-it should slide in easily.

Preview your photos. Either print an index or use the preview screen to select which photos you will be using. While looking at an index, take note of the number by the thumbnail.

Select the photos to print. Scroll through the menus and select or enter the number of the photo you want to print.

Press "print." Your print job is finished.
